“As the tide washed in, the Dutch Tulip Man faced the ocean: ‘Conjoiner rejoinder poisoner concealer revelator. Look at it, rising up and rising down, taking everything with it.’
‘What’s that?’ I asked.
‘Water,’ the Dutchman said. ‘Well, and time.’”

A Year of Parenting
To celebrate my daughter’s first birthday, I drew my most autobiographical comic ever.

I am not a (complete) human
I was playing with my 3 years old nephew one afternoon, and I don’t know how we started to imagine that we are astronaut on rocket ready to go outerspace.
Then I started that conversation, Emangnya nanti mas Rayyan mau jadi astronot?
Oooh. As he said it, I was impressed about how a kid’s dream can be amazingly beyond imagination.
I was going to tell him not to change his dreams whatever happen next, but then he asked, Kalau Om Bima, mau jadi apa?
Om mau jadi… Umm„ I pretty sure I can answer that question, mau jadi….. orang sukses!
That’s so… not wrong but also not right. I am almost eighteen and still don’t know what I want to do with my life. I am not ashamed of not being able to answer the 3 years old kid’s question but I AM ashamed that I am not a real human. Because what I learnt from many books I read is that what makes man a human, is a dream. I still don’t have one, so I am not a human, a complete one.
